PM Modi's foreign trip begins tomorrow; will visit Jordan, Ethiopia and Oman in 4 days
Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a four-day foreign tour tomorrow. During this tour, he will visit three countries—Jordan, Ethiopia, and Oman. The main objectives of this trip are to strengthen bilateral partnerships, enhance cooperation in trade and defense, and ensure regional security.
PM Modi's foreign trip will begin on December 15th. On December 15th and 16th, he will hold bilateral talks with Jordan's King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein. During these talks, discussions will focus on strengthening economic, trade, and regional security cooperation between the two countries. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, this visit will help give a new direction to India-Jordan relations.
On December 16th, PM Modi will depart for Ethiopia. This will be his first visit to the East African nation. In Addis Ababa, PM Modi will meet Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali. The two leaders will discuss trade, investment, and regional cooperation. This visit is expected to provide new impetus to India-Ethiopia relations.
On December 17th, PM Modi will visit the Sultanate of Oman. He will meet with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq. This year marks the 70th anniversary of bilateral relations between India and Oman. This is PM Modi's second visit to Oman since 2023. During this visit, he will focus on further strengthening energy, defense, and trade cooperation between the two countries.
The Prime Minister's four-day visit is considered significant in India's foreign policy agenda.
