Employees deprived of promotion will get a chance, instructions issued for review DPC
Raipur. The School Education Department has promoted officers and employees to various positions at the district, division, and state levels since the 2024-25 session. Those eligible officers and employees who were denied promotion due to some reason during this process are now being promoted through a review DPC.
In this regard, the Directorate of Public Instruction (DPI) has issued a letter to all Joint Directors (JDs) across the state. The letter directs that all representations received against promotions be properly examined, and eligible cases be resolved, and a list of names be sent for the review DPC.
The DPI has clarified that if any eligible officer or employee is left out of the promotions made at the district, division, and state level, they will be promoted through a review DPC. Instructions have been given to ensure that in cases where promotions are to be made by the Director or the state government, the eligible representations are examined and sent to the Director of Public Instruction for the review DPC.
Federation placed pending demands
Meanwhile, a delegation led by the provincial president of Chhattisgarh Sahayak Shikshak Samagra Shikshak Federation, Ravindra Rathore, met the DPI. During this, pending demands of teachers and employees were discussed and a demand was made for their early resolution.
The Federation has especially demanded that the representations received for promotion through Review DPC be considered seriously and all eligible teachers and employees be included in the Review DPC. The Federation says that the employees who have been waiting for promotion for a long time should now get justice.
