The tricolor was hoisted for the first time in Jatlur, Abujhmad; ITBP celebrated the 77th Republic Day with the villagers.
Raipur. For the first time in the remote forest area of Abujhmad, the 77th Republic Day of the country was celebrated in an enthusiastic and cordial atmosphere in Jatlur village of Jatlur valley with the support of ITBP. The program was organized by Assistant Commandant Shri Ram Kumar Maurya, Commander of E-COB Jatlur, under the leadership of Commandant Shri Roshan Singh Aswal.
On this occasion, the tricolor was hoisted in the presence of school children and villagers and sweets were distributed to all. After this, a community feast was organized in the ITBP camp premises, in which more than 150 villagers from Jatlur and Harvel villages participated and enjoyed the meal together. This initiative created an atmosphere of happiness and belongingness in the areaIt is noteworthy that under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and the efforts of Home Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, the ITBP recently established E-COB Jatlur. Since the camp's establishment, local villagers have gradually become integrated into the national mainstream. The ITBP is providing free first aid to the villagers. Additionally, drinking water stalls and seating arrangements have been set up in front of the camp, providing relief to those coming from distant lands. Villagers expressed that this sensitive initiative by the security forces has brought positive changes to their lives. This entire arrangement is the result of the dedication, enthusiasm, and spirit of service of the officers and soldiers of the 38th Battalion, ITBP.
