Chief Minister's Shramdaan at the construction site: Laying bricks with the labour sisters

00 Lay the bricks well... Add the spices well - When a female worker taught the Chief Minister the ropes.
Raipur. As part of the state-wide surprise inspections and public interaction under the Good Governance Festival, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai shared an experience in Lokhan village of Kabirdham district that further enlivened the cause of good governance. During his inspection of the Panchayat Bhawan under construction, the Chief Minister did not limit himself to a formal review; instead, he chose to be part of a process that directly impacts the lives of the common people. His behavior made it clear that good governance is not limited to policy and paper, but rather involves getting down to the ground and experiencing it. During the inspection, Chief Minister Sai spent some time among the female workers working as masons and helped them lay bricks.

Meanwhile, worker Sangeeta, smiling with a sense of warmth and ease, told the Chief Minister, "Put the bricks together properly, and apply the mortar well." This exchange was more than a simple sentence; it reflected the trust that is developing between the government and the public today. This is a situation where ordinary citizens speak their minds without hesitation, and the leadership accepts them with equal ease.

The Chief Minister stated that the true meaning of good governance is not merely formulating plans, but implementing them on the ground in collaboration with the public. He emphasized that only when a relationship of dialogue, trust, and participation is established between the government and the public does the development process become effective and sustainable. According to him, this intimacy and partnership are the greatest strengths of good governance. He issued clear instructions to officials to ensure no negligence in the quality of construction work, to ensure timely completion, and to ensure drinking water, safety, and other essential amenities for workers.
Good Governance Festival once again demonstrated that governance in Chhattisgarh is not limited to the administrative structure; it has become a vibrant system based on sensitivity, participation, and trust. Here, there is no distance between the government and the public, but rather a relationship of dialogue, cooperation, and partnership—and this relationship is emerging as the greatest force for the state's overall development.
