14th phase of Malaria Free Chhattisgarh campaign launched
Beneficiaries got the benefit of various public welfare schemes
Raipur, Forest and Climate Change, Cooperation, Transport and Parliamentary Affairs Minister and Minister in-charge of Bijapur district, Shri Kedar Kashyap gifted development works worth more than Rs 18 crore to the district. Launching the 14th phase of Malaria Free Chhattisgarh Abhiyan, he performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works costing more than Rs 16 crore 58 lakh and inaugurated various construction works worth Rs 2 crore 9 lakh. Materials and certificates were also distributed to the beneficiaries of public welfare schemes of various departments in the program.

Forest Minister Mr. Kashyap performed the groundbreaking ceremony for several important projects related to health, education, agriculture, and infrastructure development. These include the construction of transit hostels in Mirtur and Bedre, the Senior Agriculture Officer's Building in Usur, the Government College Buildings in Awapalli and Kutru, additional classrooms at Bhairamgarh College, and the construction of roads and bridges from Dugaiguda to Chintakota. These projects will strengthen education, agricultural services, and transportation facilities, and will accelerate the development of rural areas.
Inauguration of many facilities including district hospital
The inaugurated works include important projects such as a night shelter, a dal-bhaat center, a state-of-the-art Atal Arogya Lab, an office-cum-warehouse building, a school building, a Panchayat building, culvert construction, and wire fencing in educational institutions on the district hospital campus. The Atal Arogya Lab will now offer 134 testing facilities, providing better healthcare services to local residents.
Malaria Free Chhattisgarh Campaign launched
During the event, the 14th phase of the Malaria-Free Chhattisgarh Campaign was launched. Through the campaign, special activities will be conducted in the district to control malaria, ensure timely testing, and treatment, ensuring public health.
Beneficiaries received benefits of the schemes
Beneficiaries were benefited under various government schemes during the program. Forest rights pattas were distributed under the Swamitva Yojana. Under the Nishkashaya Yojana, nutritional food boxes, Ayushman cards for rehabilitated families, mother-child cards for pregnant women, and battery-operated tricycles for the disabled were provided.
Bijapur is moving forward in a new direction of development
Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap said that a new wave of development is now flowing in Bijapur. Roads, education, health, and other basic amenities are now available in areas that were previously difficult to reach. He said that continuous efforts are being made to ensure that the benefits of central and state government schemes reach the last person. He said that the state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, and the central government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, are giving top priority to public welfare and development.
Many schemes including Ayushman Bharat are changing lives
Minister Kashyap said that the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Mahatari Vandan Yojana, and various schemes for tendu leaf collectors are playing a vital role in improving people's living standards. These schemes are providing social and economic security to all sections of society. He expressed confidence that Bijapur will reach new heights of development and prosperity in the coming years.
On this occasion, Bastar MP Shri Mahesh Kashyap, District Panchayat President Smt. Janaki Korsa, Municipal Council President Smt. Geeta Som Pujari, Collector Shri Vishwadeep, Superintendent of Police Dr. Jitendra Yadav, DFO Dr. Sagar Yadav, District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Smt. Namrata Chabey along with public representatives, officials and a large number of villagers were present.
