Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated Kachana Dhurva Gondwana Bhawan.
Raipur/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today inaugurated the Kachana Dhurva Gondwana Bhawan, constructed at a cost of Rs 1 crore 7 lakh, at a programme organised by the All India Gondwana Gond Mahasabha Central Committee, Bindranavagarh, in village Darrapara of Gariaband district. On this occasion, the Chief Minister was given a warm welcome by wearing a turban and applying a tilak of yellow rice as per tribal tradition.
Chief Minister Shri Sai performed puja with traditional rituals at the tribal shrine Devthana, located at the event venue, and prayed for the state's prosperity and well-being. He also spread the message of environmental protection by planting a peepal tree under the "One Tree in the Name of Mother" campaign. Public representatives and community representatives present on the occasion also planted trees.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that this sacred land of Kachana Dhurva symbolizes the faith, culture, and glorious heritage of the tribal community. Congratulating the community for the construction of the Gondwana Bhavan, he said that this building will become an important center for social, cultural, educational, and community activities and will play a vital role in connecting the new generation with their culture and traditions.
The Chief Minister said that the government, formed with the blessings of the people, is continuously working in accordance with the promises made by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. In the last two and a half years, many historic decisions have been taken for the upliftment of the poor, farmers, women, youth, and tribal communities. He said that the government's goal is to ensure that the benefits of development reach the last person in society.
Chief Minister Shri Sai informed that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, houses have been approved for 18 lakh poor families in the state, of which more than 10.6 lakh houses have been completed. Approximately 1600 houses are being constructed every day. Farmers are receiving Rs. 3100 per quintal for paddy, tendu leaf collectors are being paid Rs. 5500 per standard sack, and under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, an amount of Rs. 1000 per month is being transferred to the accounts of approximately 70 lakh women.
The Chief Minister said that while the Gariaband and Bastar regions were once affected by the Naxalite threat, today an environment of peace, security, and development has been created. He said that a new picture of development is emerging through the government's public welfare policies and the efforts of the security forces. Through the Niyyad Nellanar Scheme, roads, education, health, drinking water, and other basic amenities are being provided to remote villages.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that through the Shri Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana, more than 42,000 devotees have visited Ayodhya Dham so far. The Chief Minister's Tirtha Darshan Yojana also provides people with the opportunity to visit various religious sites.
Referring to the Chief Minister's Electricity Bill Payment Solution Scheme, he said that consumers should register at the nearest electricity office to take advantage of the surcharge waiver. More than ₹757 crore has been waived in the state so far. He said that various certificates, including income, caste, and residence, are easily available to ordinary citizens through Atal Digital Service Centers.
Referring to the Chief Minister's Helpline 1076, the Chief Minister said that the government's intention is to ensure prompt resolution of public problems. The administration is continuously working to resolve various issues, including account splitting, name transfers, deaths, and electricity transformers.
