In this context, Simmi Kujur, a resident of Kunkuri, was also once struggling with financial problems. She had to face many challenges to meet the needs of the family. At such a time, joining a self-help group gave her an opportunity to move forward. Through the group, she obtained a loan and used that amount for animal husbandry. With hard work and dedication, her income started increasing as she pursued animal husbandry. This provided financial support to the family and their livelihood improved compared to before. Simmi Kujur's success did not stop here.
With her experience and confidence, she has once again taken out a loan. This time, she plans to install a brick-making machine. She believes this new business will provide her with another strong source of employment and income, further improving her financial situation.
Simmi Kujur said that self-help groups and government schemes have given her the opportunity to stand on her own feet. She thanked the state government profusely for the change in her financial situation and said that such schemes are playing a vital role in empowering women.
