According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Kerala. Due to its influence, rain is also likely in many parts of central, eastern and northern India. There is a possibility of thunderstorms along with rain in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. During this time, winds can blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour.

Strong winds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour are also expected in Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Sikkim during the storm.
The Meteorological Department has warned of lightning and thunderstorms in parts of Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and eastern Rajasthan.
Strong winds may also occur in parts of the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. Wind speeds here are expected to be 45 to 55 kilometers per hour, with gusts reaching up to 65 kilometers per hour.

It is currently moving northward through Jammu, Dehradun, Badaun, southeastern Uttar Pradesh, Daltonganj, and Digha towards the northeastern Bay of Bengal. The monsoon trough's position, along with the low-pressure area, remains favorable for rainfall in many parts of the country. According to the Meteorological Department, rainfall is expected to be relatively low in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Rajasthan in the coming days. This is primarily due to the monsoon trough shifting towards the foothills of the Himalayas.
