They addressed each other as "Narendra Bhai" and "Didi," and Lata Mangeshkar would send a Rakhi to the Prime Minister every year on Rakshabandhan. Lata Mangeshkar was born on September 28, 1929, in Indore. She received her early musical training from her father, Pandit Deenanath Mangeshkar. She entered the film industry at the age of 13 and later became one of the leading voices of Indian playback singing. She passed away on February 6, 2022. The legacy of her voice and music continues to resonate with listeners.
