Transfer of funds to farmers' accounts on Holi doubles Tihar's joy: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai

 Raipur - Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai attended the Holi Milan ceremony held at the Municipal Corporation of Birgaon this evening. On this occasion, he extended his heartfelt greetings to the citizens of the area on this auspicious festival of colors and wished everyone happiness, prosperity, and well-being. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that this year, the enthusiasm for Holi is even greater in the state, as the state government has transferred the difference in paddy procurement to the accounts of the farmers, who feed the nation. This has created an atmosphere of joy in the families of the farmers and has doubled the joy of the festival. He said that farmers are the backbone of the state's economy and their prosperity is the foundation of the state's prosperity. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the festival of Holi symbolizes mutual love, brotherhood, and social harmony. This festival conveys the message of unity, harmony, and positive energy in society and provides an opportunity to bring people closer to each other. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that, as envisioned by Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, Naxalism is now on the verge of extinction in the state, and a new chapter of peace and development is beginning in the Bastar region. The state government is continuously working for peace, development, and prosperity in the entire state, including Bastar. During the ceremony, Chief Minister Shri Sai enjoyed the captivating Phag songs performed by a Chhattisgarhi cultural troupe. The audience also showed great enthusiasm for the performance by MLA Shri Anuj Sharma. During the ceremony, Chief Minister Shri Sai sprayed colors with a water gun and shared the joy of Holi with the people. Present on the occasion were Raipur Rural MLA Shri Motilal Sahu, MLAs Shri Purandar Mishra, Shri Yogesh Sahu, Chairman of the Disabled Persons Commission Shri Lokesh Kavadia, CIDC Chairman Shri Rajiv Agarwal, Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Medicinal Plant Board Shri Vikas Markam, Vice Chairman Shri Ajay Shukla, Chhattisgarh Sahitya Academy Chairman Shri Shashank Sharma, former MLA and RDA Chairman Shri Nande Sahu, Chairman of the Chhattisgarh State Haj Committee Shri Mirza Ejaz Beg, Shri Ramesh Thakur, Shri Bhagirathi Yadav, Shri Manoj Joshi, councillors of the Birgaon Municipal Corporation, local public representatives, citizens, and a large number of area residents.
