Raipur - The Central Government has taken a significant decision aimed at strengthening road connectivity in areas affected by Left Wing Extremism. The extension of the Road Connectivity Project for Left Wing Extremism Affected Areas and the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) until March 31, 2027 will provide new impetus to the completion of pending road construction projects in the Bastar division of Chhattisgarh. This decision will further strengthen road connectivity in remote and sensitive areas of the state. Special attention will be given to completing the remaining projects already approved under these schemes within the stipulated timeframe to ensure better connectivity to rural and tribal areas. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai welcomed this decision of the Central Government, calling it a very important and positive step for Chhattisgarh. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Central Government is consistently sensitive and committed to the development of Naxal-affected areas and improving the living standards of the people there. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that roads are the cornerstone of any region's development. Road construction facilitates access to education, health, employment, and markets, and accelerates the pace of development. He stated that extending the duration of these projects will expedite the completion of road construction projects in remote and tribal areas of the state, including Bastar. A better road network will not only boost economic activity in rural areas but also strengthen administrative access. This will bring positive changes to people's lives and open up new possibilities for development in Naxal-affected areas of the state.

Raipur - Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai visited the BSS Pranavanand School campus on VIP Road in Raipur today and paid his respectful obeisance by garlanding the statue of Bharat Mata and the statue of Swami Pranavanand, founder of the Bharat Sevashram Sangh. Chief Minister Shri Sai visited the Cultural and Heritage Museum located on the school campus. School Secretary Swami Shivrupanand Ji Maharaj gave him a detailed tour of the museum. The Chief Minister eagerly inquired about the statues of freedom fighters, sages, and the human welfare activities undertaken by the Bharat Sevashram Sangh. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that this initiative to introduce school children to India's rich history, the contributions of sages, great thinkers, religious leaders, and freedom fighters is highly commendable. He said that India's civilization and culture are ancient, rich, and glorious, which our sages, scholars, and great men have further enriched with their knowledge, penance, and sacrifice. The Chief Minister said that connecting the new generation to their history, culture, and spiritual traditions is essential. Raipur - Mr. Ankit Sakni, a young man from the small village of Gudma in the Bhairamgarh development block of Bijapur district in Bastar division, has brought honor not only to his family and village, but also to the entire Bastar division and Chhattisgarh by securing the 816th rank in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination 2025. Calling Ankit's success an inspiration for the youth of the state, the Chief Minister wished him a bright future.  Raipur - Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai received a courtesy call from Mr. Abe Noriaki, Minister of Political Affairs of the Japanese Embassy, ​​in the Chief Minister's office room at the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly today. The two held a fruitful discussion on the possibilities of industrial investment, economic cooperation, and development in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Sai extended a warm welcome to Mr. Abe Noriaki by presenting him with a shawl and a statue of Lord Ram. Recalling his visit to Japan, Chief Minister Sai provided detailed information to Mr. Abe about the state government's new industrial policy, investment incentives, and opportunities available in various sectors. TSOC is considered the Naxalites' annual military operation. During this period, the organization's top leaders meet in the forests to formulate strategies, recruit new cadres, and plan to target security forces, police camps, and development projects. Summer leaf fall in the forests increases visibility, allowing Naxalites to launch larger attacks and ambushes. It's worth noting that in recent years, Naxalites have begun initiating TSOC earlier, anticipating the increased activity of security forces. Sometimes, it was initiated as early as January, so that major attacks could be launched before the heat sets in. However, this year, the situation in Bastar has completely changed as the deadline for the end of Naxalism, March 31st, approaches. The open Naxalite gatherings in the forests of Bastar have virtually ceased, and security forces have selectively demolished Naxalite memorials. The Naxalites' free movement in the forests has ended, and instead, security forces are seen patrolling. This has given the people of Bastar a sense of confidence that Bastar will be free of Naxalism. This will have to wait for time.

In the meeting, DJ operators discussed with the administration and assured them of abiding by the regulations and resolved not to play DJ and Dhumal music after 10 pm.
DJ and Dhumal operators clearly stated that they would follow all regulations set by the administration to avoid any problems or disputes during weddings and other events. They also stated that they would adhere to regulations related to noise pollution and raise awareness among other operators. It was decided in the meeting that DJ and Dhumal music would not be played after 10 pm at any function or event. This decision was taken keeping in mind noise pollution and law and order. Operators stated that they would play DJ music only within the established standards.

Raipur. Self-help groups operating under the National Rural Livelihood Mission (Bihar) are playing a vital role in empowering rural women economically and making them self-reliant. An inspiring example is Mrs. Revati Sahu, a member of the Sakhi Saheli Women's Self-Help Group of Domnpur Gram Panchayat, Dabhra Janpad Panchayat, Sakti district.
The group's president is Mrs. Khileswari Bareth, and the secretary is Mrs. Revati Sahu. The group received RF assistance of ₹15,000 and CIF assistance of ₹60,000 under the NRLM (Bihar) scheme. Additionally, loan facilities were also provided through bank linkages. Before joining the self-help group, Mrs. Revati Sahu was confined to household chores and had no permanent source of income. However, regular meetings, training, and guidance within the group inspired her to pursue self-employment, and she decided to incorporate economic activity alongside her household chores.

Mrs. Revati Sahu first started a setting plate business. For this, she received financial assistance of ₹1,000 through bank linkage under the NRLM (Bihar) scheme and ₹60,000 from CIF. In the 2025 fiscal year, she received a loan of ₹10 lakh through bank linkage, from which ₹4 lakh was used to expand her business by purchasing setting plate materials. Currently, she earns an annual income of approximately ₹360,000 from this business.To further strengthen her income, Mrs. Revati Sahu also began mushroom cultivation. Currently, she produces approximately 10 kilograms of mushrooms daily and sells them in nearby markets. This activity generates an additional income of approximately 60,000 to 70,000 rupees annually.
