Governor Shri Ramen Deka hoisted the national flag, took the salute at the joint parade, and extended his heartfelt Republic Day greetings to the people of the state.Governor Mr. Deka said that Republic Day inspires us to strengthen the unity, integrity, and sovereignty of the nation by remaining true to the values ​​of the Constitution. He called upon citizens to strengthen democracy by fulfilling their duties. A major highlight of the celebrations was the patriotic cultural programs presented by school children, who presented the vision of a developed India through live performances.

In the first presentation, 206 students from Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School, Surguja (Chhattisgarh) gave a captivating performance on the theme of "Developed India, Growing India." The program showcased the fragrance of the soil of Bastar and Surguja, the Karma and Damkach dances in traditional costumes of marginalized tribes, and the message of women's empowerment, empowered farmers, and strong soldiers. At the conclusion, the artists chanted "Jai Johar, Jai Chhattisgarh" with the colors of the tricolor. In
the second presentation, 310 students from Shivom Vidyapeeth, Sankara, Durg, presented a vivid portrayal of India's ancient culture, youthful energy, and the unity and integrity of the nation through "Jai Jai Bharat." Each dance movement reflected the dream of a developed India. In
the third presentation, 300 students from PG Umathe Government Girls English Medium School of Excellence, Shanti Nagar, Raipur, presented a powerful dance-drama, "Aarambh Hai Prachand," showcasing India's social, economic, technological, and cultural progress over the past 100 years of independence

For their outstanding performances, the first prize went to Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School, Surguja; the second prize went to PG Umathe Government Girls English Medium School of Excellence, Shanti Nagar, Raipur; and the third prize went to Shivom Vidyapeeth, Sankara, Durg.
Honoring the winning teams, Governor Ramen Deka praised the students' talent and said that this youth power is the foundation of a developed India. The ceremony concluded in a solemn atmosphere, filled with patriotism, cultural diversity, and a commitment to a bright future.
