Raipur. A group of 120 rehabilitated youth, who abandoned the ideology of Maoism and embraced the path of the Constitution, reached the Chhattisgarh Assembly today and observed the democratic process firsthand. The youth closely observed the proceedings of the House and understood the workings of the democratic system. This educational visit to the Assembly proved to be an inspiring and guiding experience for them. They
had a cordial meeting with Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai in the Assembly premises. Chief Minister Shri Sai welcomed everyone with Jai Johar and said that the state government heartily congratulates all those who have taken the decision to rehabilitate. He said that the government will take special care of the safety and respect of the rehabilitated youth.
Chief Minister Sai stated that the state government's priority is to ensure that all rehabilitated youth can live a respectable life in mainstream society and become self-reliant. To this end, the rehabilitation policy is being effectively implemented. He said that abandoning the path of violence and standing in the temple of the Constitution today to witness the democratic process is proof that change is possible. Chief Minister Shri Sai encouraged the youth to take maximum advantage of education, self-employment, and various government schemes.

Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma said that the state government wholeheartedly welcomes the youth who have left the path of gun power and returned to the mainstream of the republic. He stated that the path of the Constitution is the path to peace, development, and prosperity. The state government is continuously striving to ensure a dignified life, employment, and skill development for the rehabilitated youth. He expressed confidence that these youth will become agents of positive change in society and inspire others to return to the mainstream.
On this occasion, Finance Minister Mr. OP Chaudhary, Forest Minister Mr. Kedar Kashyap, School Education Minister Mr. Gajendra Yadav, Culture Minister Mr. Rajesh Agarwal, Skill Development Minister Guru Khuswant Saheb, Agriculture Minister Mr. Ramvichar Netam, Revenue Minister Mr. Tankaram Verma, Health Minister Mr. Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, MLAs Mr. Kiran Dev and Mr. Sushant Shukla also met with the rehabilitated youth and assured them that the government stands firmly with them.
The rehabilitated youth also shared their experiences, saying that this opportunity to observe the democratic system closely was deeply inspiring for them. They expressed their resolve to play an active role in the development of society, remaining within the ambit of the Constitution and the law.
It is noteworthy that this 120-member team includes 66 male and 54 female participants. This group of rehabilitated youth has arrived in Raipur on a three-day educational tour, where they are becoming familiar with various government systems, procedures, and development initiatives
