Kanker. A 14-year-old girl, who was traveling through the forest with her friends to attend a wedding in the Amabeda police station area of ​​the district, died after a tree branch suddenly fell on her.
Amabeda police station in-charge Vinod Sahu said that Yogeshwari Potai, daughter of Ramesh, a resident of Amabeda, was traveling with her friends through the forest to attend a wedding at an acquaintance's house. Suddenly, a tree branch fell on her in the middle of the forest. The girl was seriously injured in the incident. She was immediately taken to the Dhanora health center. From there, she was brought to Kanker District Hospital for better treatment. Yogeshwari died during treatment. Upon receiving information about the incident, Amabeda police took necessary action and after conducting a post-mortem on Tuesday, the body was handed over to the family for cremation.
